I'm going to college in fall though to get my computer science degree and try and become a computer engineer

Thats dope. I got a dual degree for electrical emgineer/computer eng. i basically just use my electrical one but both get u mad money right from the bat. Computer programmers make serious loot. fukk being a rapper when u get money like that working 8 hrs a day.

I shoulda went in the computer part but the elctrical shyt is mad easy. Congrats. Make sure u do that dont slip up. Ya life will be easy street.

Yeah IT is a great field. A friend of mine is a computer engineer for a Fortune 500 company that makes banks. I'm definitely going to seek a masters. Even with a bachelors you can still make good money but a masters is where you make the real good moneg

Kids music sucks, but this is my first time really seeing who he is and I can def tell he is from the city compared to a lot of the transplants. Wouldn't be surprised if I went to school with some cats (older) who he's affiliated with. Kid def earned my respect.

I seen jobs listing on Craigslist offering 50-60 bucks an hour. Depending on what exactly you do, contracts you pick up, state you're working in etc it's pretty average to make anywhere between 80-100+k a year.

Yup. Its the way to go. Dont give up on that shyt. The fact your a girl on top of that means u will get any job in the field long as ya competant. Its a male dominated industry so they gotta take girls when they come in.

Do not quit on tht ahit. Youll be making 70-80gs the second u come out of school.

Kid i worked with just graduated njit and got his second job for john deere n moved to iowa. Kid making 70gs out there, rent is like 450 a month. Hes caking living the dream.

Its still good for us here on the east coast. Just put the work in and itll pay off. College is much harder than the actual jobs. Time flys by and next thing ya know u got a nice 1200 bucks in ya bank account after taxes. shyt is lovely. Dont pass that up.

You're not getting 70-80 out of college unless you are in Cali, DC, or NYC and in those cities thats like making 35-40k elsewhere. And IT isn't a Job, lot of different areas under that umbrella such as Info Sec, Operations, Database, Software Dev, etc.

Do you know what actually Computer Engineers do? Do you actually have a passion for tech or are you doing it because you hear it pays? You also understand College alone is not going to get you a job right?
