While I don't think it applies explicitly to the OP, you have a point of how blacks are viewed on this site and in general. The victim role is wrong and disingenuous to our people; I argue we must display our historical ancestors as active agents of resistance, not strictly victims of racial oppression. We may be oppressed, but we are not and never have been faceless victims of inhumanity. We resisted and fought vigorously and we always possess potential to counterhegemony
