Anderson started for 1 year and averaged 15ppg on 40%3PT, Daniels wasn't even a starter :gucci: need I also mention Kwame Brown, Chris Mihm, and Brian Cook as consistent starters? :comeon:

Look at the 01 - 02 SGs and SFs for the spurs. Then you brag about Kobe cooking them. I'll say this again and again, the WEST had the biggest collection of the weakest guards in history, again next best SG was doug Christie, let that sink in. so no wonder Kobe was doing damage. Funny when he went up with higher caliber gaurds in the finals (AI, Miller) he wasn't that dominant anymore. he was actually matched with people that can actually go at him

fixed that for you :mjlol:

funny when ginobili and bowen got there kobe disappeared against the spurs, fancy that :sas1:

Bowen & Ginobili played on the same Spurs team from 02-09. Over those 8 years, they met in the playoffs 3 times (2003, 2004, and 2008)......the Spurs won 1 time:umad:

Kobe's numbers when "ginobili and bowen got there kobe disappeared against the spurs" per your statement:

2003: 32.3 pts on 43.4% FG

2004: 26.3 pts on 46.2% FG

2008 29.2 pts on 53.3% FG

:umad:?

The Pistons game plan was for Shaq to get his and Kobe would get frustrated and take them out rhythm, which worked. :russ:

Never in the history of sports has a game plan worked like that :wow:

Robinson the same following that injury that allowed us to get TD tho, but i get cha drift. He was still an All Star

And come on now, we both know NOBODY knew who the hell TP and Manu were before throwing on a Spurs jersey and that they were HOF type of players. That's Duncan.

But when its Lakers vs Spurs beef, both sides ut corners to support our case. That's what makes this funny as fukk :russ:

You & @Raul making me dust off the old #LWO :cape:

All I need is @AlbertPullhoez to jump in to make the cypher complete:banderas:

Crazy how we went from posts like these to being :obama::salute::myman: with each other in The Ring once the rivalry ended.:wow:

Spurs/Duncan earned my respect over the years of battles we had. Imagine if no Kobe, how many more rings Duncan would've obtained......and vice versa:whew:

From 2000-2010 (11 seasons), Kobe and Duncan won 10 of the 11 NBA Finals:damn:

That's crazy dominance. Almost Magic/Bird level of rivalry.....and this was in the same conference, so it's even MORE amazing to me:lawd:

Tayshaun Prince was the X factor that made it work. Never before had it been a defender so big, with that type of wingspan, playing lockdown man to man defense on the perimeter. Without him, the Pistons still would have lost, because you're not locking Kobe up with someone his size.

Prince's defense on Kobe + Kobe's ego to be The Man was the X factor.

2001 Anderson ranked as a positive defender and 2002 they had Bruce Bowen who really needs no explanation. Spurs were the best defensive team in 2001 and the 2nd best in 2002, there's no excuse breh

The fukk category is this :mjlol:

And they were a great defensive team because of the twin towers, just like GS was last year with green and bogut, when you have great defensive anchors that of course you will be great defensively.

not ignoring Bowen at all, he was great defensively, DEFENSIVELY and that's all. again on offense he was predictable just sit at the corner and make three balls. In all, guard play was shytty. While Shaq had to handle KG, Duncan, Wallace, Duncan, and Robinson Kobe had to handle Bowen, Christie, Anderson, Mario Elie, and a bunch of whos
