I didn't know what to think about Big.
I was young and didn't know anything about lyricism/flow.
The beats were knocking, so I was bobbing my head.
I didn't really start appreciating Big until around '01-'02.
Although he was only with us for a short time, I think he's the greatest pure lyricist of all time.
He was a natural wordsmith.Gifted.The way he abbreviated what he was trying to depict in his rhymes. He could give you a whole story in 2-3bars
I'm clockin ya, Versace shades watchin' ya
Once ya grin, I'm in, game begin
That's some real pimp/playa shyt right there. The psychology of the game.
Ho's will always reveal themselves through body language. It's how a pimp can walk into a room and tell which chicks are susceptible to some pimping. The lil subtle/not so subtle reactions. You just have to be a keen observer of body language
Versace shades= the bait......Once she grinned, vulnerability exposed..she's ready to choose up(Chappelle voice:
Gotcha bytch!!)....game initiated(begins)
What was that, one bar? And I was able to draw out a whole episode...On some National Geographic shyt.
I see why Mos Def called him the "mathematician" of rap....His lines all add up...Just so fukking precise
