Never liked it like that until recent. Video made it tolerable Back then. I remember I had to try to convince my friends Biggie was that niigga. They didn't really see it until like 1995.

Maybe last year I started liking it myself & because of my nephew. I was playing music when he was in the car with me & it came on & he loved it trying to sing along with the hook. Now every time he see's me he asks me to play it as he tries to rap along with Big :lolbron:

I didn't know what to think about Big.

I was young and didn't know anything about lyricism/flow.

The beats were knocking, so I was bobbing my head.

I didn't really start appreciating Big until around '01-'02.

Although he was only with us for a short time, I think he's the greatest pure lyricist of all time.

He was a natural wordsmith.Gifted.The way he abbreviated what he was trying to depict in his rhymes. He could give you a whole story in 2-3bars

I'm clockin ya, Versace shades watchin' ya
Once ya grin, I'm in, game begin

That's some real pimp/playa shyt right there. The psychology of the game.

Ho's will always reveal themselves through body language. It's how a pimp can walk into a room and tell which chicks are susceptible to some pimping. The lil subtle/not so subtle reactions. You just have to be a keen observer of body language

Versace shades= the bait......Once she grinned, vulnerability exposed..she's ready to choose up(Chappelle voice: Gotcha bytch!!)....game initiated(begins):wow:

What was that, one bar? And I was able to draw out a whole episode...On some National Geographic shyt.

I see why Mos Def called him the "mathematician" of rap....His lines all add up...Just so fukking precise:ohlawd:

He just had a way of painting a picture with his words.... you could visualise what he was saying.....

The flow was ungodly

The high guy in 850i, smoke tint
Rap terror, full chrome Antera's
Two Fives by the livers, the fifths is conspicuous
Bad Boy slipped in ninety-five? Ridiculous!
My rap lines is like land mines
One step, ka-boom, black suits fill the room
To whom it may concern, Junior M.A.F.I.A.'s the click
Act up, I'll have my honeys Total bust your shyt
