Addressing the structural oppression caused by the systems of capitalism, patriarchy, racism, and homophobia. What intersectionist would say is that the person that is at the bottom of the totem pole of all these systems is the black trans woman and that until the black trans woman is liberated, no one else can be liberated.

It explains why the bulk of funding is going to them. They essentially believe black people as a group can't be liberated until the black trans woman is free from oppression.

This is bad faith endeavor. The lives of the small numbers of Black trans could be changed overnight but this money WILL NEVER see their hands.

"Black Trans" are just a fundraising tool for white trans progress and the black front groups meant to support them.

Yea this is suspect. Do I think money and support should go towards black LBGTQ causes? Of course. If black lives matter, surely that means all black lives. However I think it's a mockery for the vast majority to go towards trans black organizations while black organizations that impact MOST black people are ignored. I peeped this awhile ago. A friend of mine tried to join a Houston BLM chapter a few years ago and learned they weren't doing jack shyt but providing shelter (or paying rent) for black trans women. There was no community outreach, no nothing. Just giving money to a handful of trans women. Again I have zero issue with helping those people since they're black. But again, the way they were appropriating the money is a joke.

This is a redistribution of resources aimed entirely at one group of black people. From a movement largely built on the bullet riddled backs of dead black men. Black men who are belittled and ignored in life, of course, only to become springboards for this movement after death-by-cop. Straight up robbing Peter to pay Paul shyt. Or in this case, Paula.

Hell...even if you're fine with Black trehs getting paid here, a lot of those trans groups BLM donated to are not exclusively Black

Angela Davis and other Black feminists tried to get the Million Man March shutdown out of fear that Black men would gain more power than Black women in the community. Number 1 reason why you can't have a socionomic initiative that focuses on either Black boys or men without including females.
