Do any of yall nikkas still in school ever feel "less-than" when you meet a sista who already graduated and got her sh*t together? :lupe:
Got a nice car, her own place, making a nice salary, is a Delta Sigma Theta...

I feel unworthy sometimes... :deadrose:

That's not bad bruh, It's common outside the US. Most people (outside the US) don't start college until 25

Never too late to go back or be in college. I made the mistake of taking a lot of breaks..omw to my degree now, nothing is going to deter me this time.

At least you going back homie...some nikkas take breaks, and it becomes a curse.. They never go back, and get trapped in the work force.

shyt nikka I'll be 25 in September and I'll be taking night classes at community college:francis:

:salute: Salute my nig.

Be happy your on college and on your way to a degree that will get you money.

I'm on the blue collar route until I get to go back to college

Don't get trapped my nikka.. :lupe:

Exactly what I almost let myself do, had a decent paying job but got laid off...it was a blessing in disguise. Haven't looked back since, I made school my #1 priority and a job second. Let my new employer know that school comes first.

What you going to school for tho? In my opinion if it aint engineering or something in the health field then just quit that shyt, and find a job and stack. Its cool to have a degree and all but whats not cool is being 30 and still paying back loans my nig

It makes me anxious to finish when I see people my age already graduated but I've learned not to compare myself to others, a recipe for failure

I graduated college at 27.

I transferred through three schools. Took me 10 years to get one degree. Don't feel bad. I absolutely hated it after a while. Felt lesser than compared to peers my age that had already graduated and had a job. Didn't know what the hell to do with myself. Comparison is violence against the self. Don't do it.

I'm 30 now and finally got my first real out of college job...lol.

I believe the average age of students upon graduating is 24. Which means that you're on track to graduate at a normal rate.

It's also worth noting that only about half of enrolled students graduate by that age. Many drop out or take longer to earn credits. So even at your speed you are still moving at a faster pace than many others.

Sometimes it can be a bit discouraging... I'm junior status and turning 23 this summer....I've made some mistakes in my past, but I'd rather be 23 tryna get my degree than 30+.... I'll probably be 25 when I graduate. :mjcry:

Any other bruhs stlll in school that are over 21? :sadcam: Let's talk and encourage one another. :blessed:

Breh you straight, live for you and not what others think, you going somewhere in life and rather it takes 4 years or 10,that hardwork and the opportunities it will present will be something you can look back on and be proud of.

And for the record I know cats who didn't graduate with a bachelor's until they were 30 ish,but the checks from they job start looking fat and they won at the end of the day:mjcry:
