I work with someone who has battled cancer multiple times. Had it during Covid.

Chemo saved her life. Lost all her hair, now hair is long and thick down her back. Still eating bad food :francis::wtf:, but the chemo treatments saved her.

Ppl can do what they want but…:manny:

Your story goes against the narrative and shows that there is still a GOD that heals people.

Thank you but there is no God
The math is not in your favor
More die than live

Situation“On-Chemo” Outcome“No-Chemo” Outcome
Early-stage cancers (breast, colon, etc.)Often significant survival or recurrence benefitsNo chemo may mean higher recurrence and lower survival
Advanced/metastatic disease (e.g., prostate)Modest but statistically significant survival gainLower survival rates
End-of-life careOften no survival benefit; may decrease quality of lifePalliative focus may be more appropriate
Alternative treatments in place of chemoConsiderably worse survival odds

Being told you have cancer and should undergo chemo therapy at 23 must be increadibly terrfying. If your mother, whom you trust, is a medical professional and she tells you that it's probably not cancer and that there are alternative therapies, it's probably easy to give into denial than to accept a scary and uncomfortable reality.
Oh yea, her mother definitely gets a chunk of the blame here. Her brothers will never forgive the mom. Smh

I'd do the same

Not so I can be alive longer but so I can live longer
He had a rare form of pancreatic cancer that had a very high chance of survival because it was slow growing. And pancreatic cancer generally is very deadly. So if you were to get that same cancer, surgery will be the best and most curable option. Not sure why anyone would opt for a juice diet.

I agree about the surgery part, im only talking about chemo
He did get a liver transplant though when it metastasized in the liver
