I'd say my family is pretty black, paternal grandma is her white mom's only child and has one brother her dad had with a black woman, and had my dad with a black man, who had me with a black woman, and his brother also has a black father. My dad has seven kids, three of us with "full" black women, one with a Mexican, one with a black/Filipina, and two with an Argentinian/Mexican...

So I think my family is pretty black, but I know going up three generations is where the significant whiteness comes in. My shyt is so high I think because it's coming from both sides, and also because the black people in my family were all pretty mixed (my dad directly had a white grandma, and my mom's mom and kin are all Creoles of color so she likely has significant whiteness in her that was passed on to my mom and her sisters)...
My dad's mom resembles Jasmine Guy but other than her and a sister who kinda looks like Draya, all the muhfukkas in my family look full black. I just find the whole science of genetics interesting...
