24 Hour Missing Persons Rule

So how do y'all feel about the fact that in most cases a person must be missing for 24hrs in order for the police to even begin to take you serious?

I get it but it still seems like B.S so much can happen in the time that you figure out someone could be missing that it's too late.

Just like the majority of the fukked up laws of law enforcement, this rule is pure bullshyt. We could be here for the rest of eternity discussing the fallacies and illogical steps of law enforcement

I'm agreeing with you. The fact that it takes 24 hours for the police to acknowledge there is a problem is insane, especially when little children go missing all the time

stupid, but not surprise with the bullshyt politics in this country. They will not tell u that it's a waste of money for them to go searching for a person and make up some shyt of a excuse

Only way it will change if someone in the white house circles kid or wife goes missing and found rape and dead and then u will see the laws change

It's bs, at least some sort of notice should be put out there for the rest of the station to be on the look out for the child.

Even if the person knows for a fact that the person is missing for that long and not making contact is totally out of character you don't see that as a problem?
