More than 200 individuals who were on the federal terrorism watch list passed background checks and were allowed to buy guns in 2010, according to a new government review.

A review by the Government Accountability Office determined that 247 people on the watch list bought guns last year, and also showed that between 2004 and 2009, more than nine out of ten individuals on the list who tried to buy guns succeeded.

What if you went to buy a gun and then in the middle of it the registrar was like " I'm sorry sir, you're on the national terrorist watch list and we reserve the right to refuse you service" and you're like :wtf:  :aicmon:

the country is a poorly run bureaucracy

strengthening background checks is only logical

they reviewed what happened for the purpose of not making the same mistake again...

I was reading recently Michigan or Minnesota defunded their dmv because they were afraid it would be used for such a purpose. the people in this country have lost their minds.

not that surprising that 300 out of 300000000 have either ties to some terrorist organization or the potential to commit a terrorist act. that is literally one in a million lol, and considering Americas rage inducing foreign policy it actually seems pretty reasonable

1 person can cause havoc. So, if the list is accurate, wouldn't that be alarming to some people?
