I know you down to walk and prepared for the grind, and the higher paying job will allow you to stack for transportation quicker. However, depending on how long that takes, walking a few hours to and from a job where you doing is physical labor is very taxing physically and mentally. Your energy will be very depleted.

The other job pays $5.50 less per hour and the benefits seem similar. You also have the option of taking the bus, which you said is a 35 minute ride. So instead of a 2 hour walk, you can get there in 35 minutes if you take the bus. So to and from will be a little over an hour. The higher paying job has no bus option, so you have to walk or depend on a ride which is not as reliable as the bus. So that’s 6 hours to and from walking vs around an hour sitting down on the bus.

That’s a 5 hour difference in your time to make $5.50 more. That comes out to $1.10 per hour. Is your time worth $1.10 per hour? No it’s not. Take the lesser paying job

Concrete, Concrete like Greg Street
I'd rather take a 5 minwalk to McDonald's down the street making min wage.
Low key maybe not Micky ds....but work 18hrs a day at 15 an hr is 270 a day...25*12 is 300 but factor in the 6 hrs of travel and it’s really 16.666 an hr. So is that extra 20 or so dollars a day worth it when u factor in opportunity cost? To me he’ll no. Find 2 regular jobs close to the crib and stack until something better comes along

Shift for the rail wheel job is from 11PM - 7AM. They'll still be at work or will be on their way out headed to work.
