25 Songs Where Rappers Got Murdered on Their Own Sh*t (Complex)

Looking at the list of songs, I really cant say anybody got murdered on their own shyt. Are there some memorable performances on some? Hell yeah. But in 90% of these songs, everyone came correct.

...that's the other thing. This looks more like a discussion on "best collabs" than an actual "he got you on your own song" debate, some of these are like "duh", and others are just dumb. Like seriously....if you're going to debate the merits of someone's lyrical prowess such that they stood out on a collab they were featured on moreso than the featuring artist, I'm not trying to hear that Kanye West's verse on "Run This Town" was more impactful for HIS career as well as his standing in the rap universe as Lil Kim's verse and appearance on the "Quiet Storm" Remix (WHICH, by the way, ISN'T on the damn list...what the hell?!? )

The original "Quiet Storm" is classic but the remix is timeless. Lil Kim Bodied Mobb Deep on that. She was flowing so hard it was like the ghost of Big was in her cause she went in on that track:
