25-year old pregnant mother of five gunned down while driving in Chicago

Chicago is a great town with much to offer, but sadly it is increasingly becoming a city known for violent crime. In the wake of a particularly grim holiday weekend in which the Chicago Police Department reported a staggering 60 shootings, came the murder of Jasmine Curry, a 25-year-old pregnant mother of five. Curry was shot on the southbound shoulder of the Dan Ryan Expressway when another vehicle opened fire on her van, police said.
It was about 4 a.m. Wednesday when police responded to reports of gunfire near the 55th Street exit on the outbound lanes of the expressway. Officers found the bullet-riddled van on the shoulder near 59th Street. The surviving female passenger is cooperating with police. Investigators described the other vehicle involved in the incident as a silver Dodge Intrepid, though the year is unknown.
Investigators learned one unharmed female passenger was inside the minivan and they are still trying to identify a male passenger who fled the scene on foot. Police said Curry, the driver of the blue 2005 Dodge Caravan, suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Surveillance footage is being used to aid in the ongoing investigation.
Before heading out for an evening with friends, Curry left her children with her mother, Latonia Mardis, Tuesday night.
“That was my baby, that was my queen, she loved everybody,” Mardis said.
“That was my daughter, my first born,” said Pierre Curry, the victim’s father.
Those who know Jasmine Curry best don’t believe she was the intended target.
“It’s disgusting, it’s sad, and all I keep thinking about is her babies,” said Liz McElroy, a friend of the victim.
“I don’t know what happened, all I know is I need the police to get that person who did that to her,” Mardis said.
Community activist Andrew Holmes is urging anyone who has information about this shooting to call the Chicago Police or they can also call (800) 883-5587 and those details would be shared with Chicago police and state police immediately. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the individuals involved in the shooting

Now the father is going to have to raise 4 kids on his own 
Sorry not going to play this game with you, if you see nothing wrong with a single mother of 5 who is also pregnant out at 4am hanging with friends in one of the most dangerous cities in the country then I don't know what to tell you.
