Wow he looks like a shell of his old self, them roids and just having a beat up body made him age, there are wrestlers his age that still look similar to their younger selves. It looks like he became a devout Christian and has a business in Florida.
Yeah he don't look shyt like his old self. Glad he got out and moved on with his life and isn't doing 50 seat Indy shows

i remember him as a fake rock & roll dude like Man Mountain Rock or some shyt......his role in the flock was the best version of that character. his look fit that style.

Was also some Misfits in Action character, and something like a 70's stoner, with all that peace & love shyt

I was there...

WCW Saturday Night tapings on a Sunday afternoon, tickets were 54 cents (one of the sponsors was the channel that aired WCW shows in Bmore, channel 54).

It was supposed to be Sting vs Vader in a rematch from Great American Bash '92. Sting gets attacked by the debuting Jake the Snake which had us like :ohhh:. Then they do a random drawing to see who replaces Sting in the match. It was out of Simmons, Pillman, Windham, Dustin, Van Hammer, couple other dudes. Simmons wins and says "if it's goin' down let's get it over wit'!" on some Geto Boys shyt :lolbron: Then Simmons wins the belt and the Arena was lit! Dusty comes out and hugs Ron, we marked out... :mjcry:

Classic shyt.

Only thing that kinda sucked about Ron's run is that he was never treated as a legit main event guy. This is when the Dangerous Alliance was still running, Cactus Jack was a threat, but Simmons' big feud was with... the Barbarian. Meanwhile the Sting/Jake feud had kicked off and that headlined Halloween Havoc over Simmons/Barbarian (understandably, but still). Then he feuds with Steve Williams for Starrcade, which is overshadowed by the BattleBowl. Then Vader beats him in Bmore at a house show and that was pretty much it for Simmons' push in WCW. It was almost like he was never champion after he lost the belt back, he was barely even midcarding.
