Avatar being the biggest movie of all time is fascinating to this day. no one talks about that shyt anymore, and it doesn't seem like anyone gives a fukk about the the sequels that never seen to be coming out.

also, "the world" has shyt taste in blockbusters. China especially loves garbage. Furious 7 being a top 6 movie of all time is mind boggling

well i mean,that's smart bc literally the only thing appealing about Avatar was Pandora. the story was basic, and the characters looked like absolute shyt. the whole appeal was the planet and the fact it was a 3d breakthrough... now everyone basically hates 3d.

Alice in Wonderland's sequel making $700mm less than the original makes zero sense. I didn't like the first one and have no doubts the 2nd one sucks, but that dropoff is insane

The movie came out in 2010.. the sequel came out in 2016.

6 years is a LONG time.... they shoulda have came out with a sequel within 3 yrs
