In the womb
word me too. problem is that it was at my older cousin's basement apartment and he was one of those nikkas that turns down the volume and listens to music instead of the game sound and play by play
we were listening to onyx bacdafucup album when the timeout happened so i missed the initial commentary in real time but when we realized what happened his slime turned down the volume right on sticky's verse off shifftee and we listened to the announcers in SHOCK. fukkin webber man. you remember how much the hood was treating michigan like they were the new georgetown off the strength of fab five. granted yes, we know somebody motioned for him to call a timeout but if he wasn't the master of panic (shout out to shaq & stan van) he would have known as a leader they had none. remember he had the big egregious non-called travel BEFORE the timeout so webber was shook to death and panic stricken already. no lie i wrote him off right then for his entire career i was so salty afterwards.... fukk a dunk on barkley and nike commercial b
That Bacdafucup album is legendary.

Popped out the video then shattered the tape & went upstairs to smoke by myself. To this day I still haven't seen that game other than them damn 2 min
nah I gotta few more to godamn nikka u 50?I thought I was old on this bytch.
I agree with you but the reason it's talked about is because people to this day believe he threw that game to repay Ed Martin who was basically a number runner taking bets from people all over Detroit. That Chris Webber time out is so played out and overrated as a college basketball moment.
It's been 30 years. Who cares besides Jalen Rose?
For that to be a legitimate theory people would need to prove Webber was sabotaging the game from the outset. He would have had to have been point shaving because how else would you even get to a scenario late in the game where it could be in doubt?I agree with you but the reason it's talked about is because people to this day believe he threw that game to repay Ed Martin who was basically a number runner taking bets from people all over Detroit.
I agree with you but maybe folks were just betting on Michigan to win straight up. You'd think majority of folks in the D would have put money on Michigan. Remember Ed was an electrician in the car assembly plants with free reigns to go wherever he wanted. There must have been over 50,000 workers in those plants back in the day. I'm not into conspiracies but I think this does play a huge part on why people remember this play from 30 years ago.For that to be a legitimate theory people would need to prove Webber was sabotaging the game from the outset. There is no evidence for it. Webber was balling. Just a bad play.
