was that
fettuccine alfredo worth it bruh?
i don't understand the phenomenon. many of us are aware of the longstanding "tradition" of restaurants, particularly upscale ones, providing less than standard service to blacks on the assumption that we're bad tippers, belligerent, etc... yet nikkas will haul ass to these establishments en masse.
luckily i live in a city with jamaican, ghanian, ethiopian, soul food, etc. food on deck... idgaf if i get tired of food of this variety, i'm staying in the cut and cooking something dope if i get the urge before i patronize elsewhere... and i say this as someone who, for the most part, has had pretty normal interactions at restaurants (as opposed to stories i've heard).
i know a few brothas who i went to school with who are willing to look past the subtle cac discrimination in venues like restaurants and high-end shops because trinkets and eating well supercede racism. because they feel it necessary to indulge the same way their white counterparts do. nikkas wondering why i'm being a homebody and stacking that bread...
i don't even hit up the a-rab store in my old hood (blacks who aren't muslim are perceived a criminal element

).
