The stereotypes about black restaurant do hold some truth to it though. My family and I regular buy from this Haitian restaurant and their service is horrible (the food is good though). You're not free to order from the menu as their lazy to cook some of the things you order. So you're forced to order something else.

that is one thing that irritates the fukk out of me about my people. i think it may be a middle to low wage thing and not a black thing though

people complain and complain and complain about the fukkin service, but will keep fukking going there. cuz of what? convenience? them motherfukkers just cursed you out in the kitchen and probably fukked with your food and STILL got your money. like "yall always do this shyt. yall racist. yall wouldnt do that in a white neighborhood. yall wouldnt treat your people like that" but you will accept them treating you like that? be back up there next week giving your hard earned money getting the same shytty shyt.

I make sure that if I get bad service (anywhere) I let it be known . If I'm somewhere spending money and they are somewhere making money, then I expect to be treated well. It's not a race thing, it's a respect thing. I've spoken to managers, waited for the food to come and right when they show up with that "sorry it took so long " I've stood up and left. I asked to speak to the GM at the dealership when I was getting my car serviced because the rep said he would call me back at 9 AM and never hit me back until I was in the office complaining

I can afford my own way wherever I go but giving people the usually gets me discounts or freebies too

Most upscale resturants I have been in, I have gotten good service. If I get bad service I won't patronize anymore.

To each his own I don't think you are wrong, I'm just different. If someone shows me bad service, I show them the same disrespect. I'm not the type of person to silently walk away because then people don't know where they stand. If someone makes me uncomfortable or treats me in an unsatisfactory manner, I let them know. I don't always hoot and holler though, I just let people know that how they treated me wasn't acceptable.
