2K needs to stop trying to rip people off

so im playing 2k14 career and i noticed i cant edit my gear. come to find out i gotta pay 1,000 VC for a headband, 4,000 for a sleeve, and VC for anything else i want to wear during a game . u telling me i gotta go play 30 games just to afford shyt for my player?


in game transactions are the worst thing to happen to gaming, and its not going to go anywhere cause dumbasses keep buying shyt like VC. .

When you really think about it you're going to play around about 600 games with your player ( if you're faithful ) you have to to think about it over a years span. Though it may cost a lot think about it in retrospect of that.

but why do i need to play 75% of a season just to put a headband on my player? in real life the coach and gm dont be like breh u aint played 60 games yet put those sleeves back in your locker.

What's worse, is while they're focusing on how to nickel and dime us to death with VC, they completely fukked the game up. MyGM (what's supposed to be the new Association mode) is unplayable right now. You gotta jump through hoops just to edit the roster, and you can only hope that your edits stick. And to top it all off, their shytty servers are barely working, which fukks EVERYTHING up, because once you start a mode while "connected", you can't continue it when their shytty servers go down. shyt's a joke.

It's a shame, cause for the most part, the on-court experience is very good, but if they keep on this VC, "MyMode" path, I won't be buying this game in the future.

right now its the best game on the next gen, graphics, gameplay wise, but they servers are always ass and they never do shyt bout it, i havent been able to play a game online on there yet, shyt been going on forever wit them

thats why i dont give a shyt if nfl 2k get the nfl back, cause i know they online servers will be so trash like they was on the last 2k game, and how they been on nba 2k since forever, they have no idea how to make a online community at all, all they care about his offline modes and they aint even that good either

Yea it's wack. It'd be ok if the VC prices made sense, but since they're trying to turn them into microtransactions, they have no incentive to do so. at being the reigning MVP 3 years in a row and signing a max deal at 2000 VC a year.

Don't you dare excuse the bullshyt these companies are pulling, accessories should not be locked behind an artificially high "xp" barrier that promotes and encourages you to spend money on virtual currency. These game companies are using policies from free2play games on full fledge $60 titles.

It's frustrating, and I can see it stopping me from buying certain games in the future. I haven't gotten this year's version of 2k (moreso because I'm waiting to cop a next-gen console) but knowing about shyt like this + their crappy servers has me even more hesitant.

It's ridiculous to spend $60 on a game and then be expected to drop even more cash. Especially on something as minuscule as a fukking headband. It cheapens the experience and rather than make me want to a) play the game more or b) spend money on VC, it just makes me want to stop playing the game altogether, and skip out on the next iteration.

It's 2013 and a new generation and these bafoons still have anemic servers? I love the 2k brand as a whole, but this has been a long time coming. The nickel and diming...removing features...ignoring and even omitting certain modes. 2K has one of the most loyal, and unfortunately, brain dead and apologetic fan bases I've ever seen. This type of crap will continue until these clowns get any decent competition.

Screw EA, but if they don't put out a decent product in the next couple of years, hoops gaming will go the way of Madden. No competition, brain dead, complacent fan base, and a company more worried about style and reeling in guys who want to play an RPG than actual basketball.
