2K: not being able to play with players because they're hurt in real life is the dumbest

you can play with Rose and Kobe offline just don't update rosters...

No it doesn't. It makes people only use certain teams because if their favorite teams is depleted anyway you won't be able to beat the Thunder,Heat, etc
Who cares who is fan of team.It shows whos really a fan of the team honestly
Plus 2ks difficulty online is set up so you shouldnt have any problem winning games with a depleted squad.
With that said DRose was so realistic in this years game its a shame not being able to run with him online

I beat dudes w teams like PHX and Memphis daily. I play w LAL more than ever because Kobe is gone. It's fun to see Bulls and Laker stans play w their roster and not win cause they can only use Rose and Kobe.
that wouldn't work. its a set 13 man roster. teams make trades.. pick up free agents and d leaguers due to stars getting injured. Golden state vs Lakers. Steve Blake at point makes golden state a much better team, and the Lakers picked up 2 players out of that deal bc Kobe is out. Can't have 14 active. a lot of shuffling happens due to injuries. online you have to use updated rosters or somebody will always be screaming foul....
You can have Kobe inactive but still able to put in lineups prior to the game starting.
and you going to choose to make the 13th man inactive?
that is weak and ruins the dynamics of online play. certain trades wouldn't go down without injuries.

Not really irrelevant you just see who runs with who for the team or who runs with who for the players. With only 4-6 teams being used online as is, its funny to see one team completely forgotten about once injuries hit. Its been the Lakers and Bulls 2 years in a row because of injuries.
Truth be told Bulls are just as deadly, but def not as fun by them giving Heinrich the floor general sig he makes Butler, Freddette and Snell deadly as shyt from 3.
Lakers are stupid to play with as well because of all the gunners and Marshall having the dimer sig skill.
I do get where nikkas would want to be able to play with injured superstars, but with online being a glitchy and repetitive Im def not mad at 2k for doing it.

to be fair after the season is over they allow you to play with them all again
its not hard to understand what you are saying. you are not understanding why online they shouldn't be playable. go over to the 2k forums they have been discussing this issue ad nauseam for years now. your side lost....
