10 hours to edit a video? wtf lol
Yeah, editing can be really time consuming. Ive had some videos take me hours upon hours to edit that I've split into daily work. One of my friends vlogs constantly and vids can take him 12hrs easily at times to make something 10-15 minutes long. After a while you can become really critical, spend a few hours, scrap it and start over. We have a girl in office that edits videos now, took so much workload and pressure off of me. Every now and then I'll edit my footage so I don't forget what I learned. I watch a lot of youtube vids just to pick up tricks and things to make our videos better.

Yeah, I mean if you paying them $15 for 10 hours.

some of the youtubers were trying to calculate how much money he makes, they say it's like 60k a month... which is crazy for doing some damn videos.

But who really knows. Either way if you accept $15 for 10 hours of work then you are a hoe.

Generally, once you get a million followers you can make anywhere from $150,000 to $400,000, he's pulling in cash if he has over 500,000 followers.

This is what i thought. No way im letting that skinny ass dude bark on me like that :mjlol:

He seems like the type to get officials involved though. Hes not gonna be willing to accept the consequences of shyt catching up with him.

This shyt happens in professional settings too. You gotta know when to draw the line.

It can be as simple as that sometimes, but once you get into trying to find music, add effects, transitions and cuts to synch with music, color grading, adjusting scenes to letterboxing if needed, it can get intensive. The main part is trying to find a balance of what you shot and then compressing it into something that gives you a breakdown of the event without being too long and boring. I'm sure some dudes have it down to a science after a bit that shoot their own footage and edit it like Casey Neistat does. Give someone else that same footage and they would probably be working on it for a while to replicate that kind of work and I doubt many would be close. Now take all this into consideration and then not having a computer up to doing the job properly, you can't imagine how long it actually takes those types of people. Rendering, uploading and trying to handle HD footage got their computers about to die. 4k footage :sadcam:
