Loved the Genesis Sonic games and DK1. Never played DK 2 or 3 for some reason. If I had to choose it would be Sonic.

Donkey Kong is amazing, 2 is great and 3 sucks.

The movement wasn't shytty, it was different. The game had a more physics based system in place that wouldn't make it play like say Mario. Fun ass game but to each his own.
