Nothing courageous about checking out and running away from your problems.

How do you force a person to live that wants to die?

Lock them in a rubber room forever or sumn?

But who the fukc is YOU to FORCE a person to do anything?

I wouldn't say we have the actual RIGHT to detain them or tie them up.

Tough situation but I look at it like: the person can do what they want. Some people want things that we don't agree with

This generation has to deal with new, pernicious pressures man. They have to engage with social media in order to actuallysocialize. No real escape from internet trolls that either gaslight them or encourage them to kill themselves. Large swathes of the country consider these mass shootingss an acceptable blood letting in order to keep their guns; as if responsible gun control is a zero sum game. I know we rag on this generation a lot, but damn it's gotta be tough .

I've seen a cousin, like a brother to me bleeding out in the backseat of my aunt and his grandmother's oldsmobile, from a gunshot in the back. I've had a woman pull a gun on me and fire and another woman try to stab me with a knife.

It's not survivor's guilt. They were diagnosed with PTSD and it was left untreated.

It happened with some of the Columbine survivors as well.

I wonder how much of that PTSD is due to Alex Jones fanboys constantly harassing/sending death threats to the families of survivors rather than just due to the shooting itself.

calling someone suffering from an intense mental disease "mentally weak" and "cowardly" is ridiculous. It's like saying youre weak if you die from cancer.

Ptsd soldiers kill themselves after surviving numerous fire fights leaving their friends behind. They had months of bootcamp and desensitizing "programming" as prep. Modern, first world people have hard very hard time dealing with extreme violence because it isnt part of their day to day experience.

Coupled by the fact thats theres an army internet trolls who call them actors, these kids never had a chance
