He said the lakers had a better team last year :dead:

Lakers had NO bench last year which was one of a few reasons they were disfunctional. AK alone >> the lakers bench last year

:mindblown:

My Pops Forever RIP

You didn't answer the question. You just posted a video of a salty Bill Simmons wanting something he's wanted for years.

Like I said, give me the scenario where we're "forced" to move him. You DO realize letting him leave in 2 years is the best thing for all involved right?

I'm done talking about this here though. Find the Wolves thread if you want. This thread's about meaningless preseason basketball where we simply hope no one Kevin Ware's themselves on the court tonight.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
hell NO... this team is going nowhere -it didnt work for the lakers last year & LA had a better team
billy king the GM... is fukking idiot

I don't think you're giving them enough credit, I think the Nets are going to be very good, their window is extremely small but for a 1-2 year run they should be a threat. The pieces fit much better than LA, and they actually have a bench.

There's less pressure on Williams to be the best player on the team, they have upgraded PF/SF in a major way, and their bench is pretty solid. If they stay healthy they are going to be really good :manny:

Nah, that Laker team was a mess and Dwight did not fit well with Pau at all, his lack of back to the basket game just fukked them over offensively. Plus they had absolutely no bench to speak of.

Lopez/KG is a pretty good tandem, they are both skilled and KG's top of the key jumper should give Lopez room to operate. Also, last year was "down" year for Piru P and he still averaged 19 a game while being the main focus of opposing defenses. The Nets do have weapons, and they are pretty balanced if you just look at them and think about how everyone plays. They have the roster to go big or small, and while they may not have athletes the 2009-2010 Lakers team didn't have any either.

Their biggest issue defensively will be quick PGs, so just on paper the Bulls might be a big problem for them. But the games aren't played on paper, and I do think the Nets are going to be there at the top of the East.

The owner goes above and beyond to build a super team and this a$$hole still finds a way to complain. I don't know how anyone in Brooklyn could be bytching about the moves ownership has been making. Brand new arena, rebranding of the team with merchandise that's fashionable, and a team worth rooting for all in the span of two years. :smh:

Their window is small, but they have the depth to weather the storm of small injuries.

The only person they truly can't afford to get injured is D. Will.
