7mile to SE & Uptown!
found this on youtube

This album would've followed up Me Against the World, Tupac originally planned on releasing R U Still Down in December of 1995 thinking that he wasn't going to be released from prison until 1999, but death Row bailed him out so the album was never released.

I listened to this all the way through...this kinda sounds like an extension to MATW. I understand why he choose to scrap this if indeed this was the intended order and choice of songs. He had better tracks in the stash though IMO.

Don’t care what no one says favorite posthumous album(like I tell my homie the others are “fake” n I refuse to listen to them) of his. He was hittin god mode AEOM & 7 Day deserves the praise but :wow:
“I’m Gettin money” is just “str8 ballin” with changed lyrics I can go on

I remember people at school were disappointed with this album back when it released but I liked it from the start. I think they expected All Eyez on Me 2 but I liked it for what it was, mid-90s songs we mostly hadn't heard. I had never heard that he had planned on dropping it in late 95 to keep the cash generating so that's interesting.
