How many styles did Ya mans jack to create albums like MATW, 7DT, AEOM? Why he sound so different than he did early in his career when he was social commentary/concsious rapper? :sas2:

Since u wanna post old Biggie songs, lets see how ya mans sounded early in his career before he started Shang Tsunging styles from popular gangster rappers and underground nikkas. Talk about how it was revealed that he heard songs from the unfinished RTD album and ran to Biggie’s producer, Easy Mo Bee, to make shyt for his Thug Life and MATW projects, but Biggie’s the thief.

:sas2:

Exactly bro

Easy Mo Bee has gone on record saying Pac heard some of those beats & wanted that heat & the same with Big

I never said Big wasn't influence by the West coast. King T was big influence along with Snoop. But to say Big sounded West coast isn't true. Some of his tracks did sound like it because the West coast sound was dominant at the time. And again you're overstating Pac's influence.

Pac definitely came off as jealous towards the end & tried to indirectly take credit for Big's success & you're running with that. Pac gave Big game as a friend to help him but it doesn't mean he owes his whole style to him as some of you (and Pac) think lol. If anything it was Puff whom you conveniently left out that tailored Big's style to the mainstream because he was hardcore & only rapped aggressive content which Puff helped him refine. Big & Puff constantly fought because he didn't wanna do it

Pac & Big sound nothing alike & are 2 totally different kinds of rappers

Man, I can hear what you're saying but just like I said in this thread:

I can spot Pacs DNA woven through other artists compositions because its so obvious due to how unique his presence was which is why it was so imitated as its a recipe for success. I'm quite certain I posted something ages ago with all of the bits and pieces of resonance BIG had to Pac back when but it might have been on Covo or SOHH as I don't kick it with these stan wars these days as I just appreciate the music and people get emotional if you raise the topic.

Best chune off Thug Life prolly wouldn’t even exist if 2pac didn’t hear the songs Easy Mo Bee made with Biggie and begged him to give him some similiar shyt for his project.

My boy was on complete bullshyt and hatin, 😭. , Harlem nig shyt. Even if you did give him the style to run with…bro, why you this mad about it? Wasn’t that his little mans that he had up under the arm schooling and shyt? Should be proud right? I blame Suge, son was the biggest hater in the history of Earth lol
