"2pac vs. Ice Cube situation story examined, after an original member of the Outlawz opened up on certain incidents last summer. One of the most unknown issues in the hip-hop world, had been the static 2pac had with Ice Cube. After his release from prison, Makaveli left New York and formed a business partnership with Suge Knight and his friends at Death Row.

While Big Suge and Kurupt have always kept things one hundred with their late associate, some people have been fabricating stories and even lying on encounters with 2pac. Out of 2pac’s own words, he felt Ice Cube was clout chasing the west coast aggressive content, with telling out of towners to bow down.

This was evident, when it was brought to our attention that he planned to unleash multiple diss tracks at Cube after making peace with Nas and others in the five boroughs. Unfortunately, it may have seemed that way and 2pac was completely correct; but Ice Cube was quietly repping the west lifestyle on the forefront after completing a slew of Hollywood films.

It was just going under the radar in the masses, due to him being a behind-the-scenes manager for up-and-coming acts. Right before he died, he was going to shift all attention away from Biggie and put towards Ice Cube for a moment. He had finished multiple albums and was planning to take a break from music entirely for film.

In 1997, the plan was to release the One Nation album with Wu-Tang Clan, Outkast, DJ Premier and even wanted to work with UGK. By 1998, he would’ve wanted to make a Me Against the World 2 album for the ladies, who were begging him to make content for them during the peak of his Outlaw run at Death Row.

Take a look at media below from 2pac discussing the situation.

Why does this bullshyt keep floating around so much recently?

Smh Pac was straight up delusional when he said that. Cube was not biting him. How many times does it have to be said, Cube was throwing shots at the East before Pac was even on that shyt

Did MC New York really have the credibility to call out one of the pioneers of west coast hip hop? The one who put “gangsta rap” on the main stage?:jbhmm:

West side Slaughter House came out in 1995. A full year before All Eyez on Me came out.

It’s this kind of irrational and emotional behavior that got him clapped twice.

First of all, you’re an out of towner who just got cool with Suge and his homies. Now you’re going to start beef with two, Snoop and Cube, hometown legends? The way Pac moved was so naive. It’s like he didn’t understand the streets at all.
