Kurupt's speculating in the video though, since he thought Daz was the one who sneaked in the INS adlibs and Daz said in the previous vid that he wasn't there when the track was completed with 2Pac. That's why I believe Daz's story, only makes sense to leave the adlibs on if the verse is lost imo

This is my attempt at recreating the unreleased original version of “Got My Mind Made Up”, adding Inspectah Deck’s verse which wasn’t included on the retail version (he reused it in a freestyle, which is what I used when making this). I also added Method Man’s censored words.

Adding Deck's verse from the freestyle has been done before but new AI technology for extracting acapellas has been launched since so I figured I’d make an updated version, and it did turn out better than the old fanmade edit.

Since there’s rumours about it being 2Pac’s call to take INS off this track, I suggest you watch the video “Daz Dillinger: Tupac and Dr.Dre' get into it !” if you haven’t. Daz (who produced the track) explains why Deck wasn’t on the retail version, the verse was on a different ADAT which was lost. This explains why they left the adlibs on, it was on the ADAT with the other verses - if they actually wanted to take Deck off the track there’s no way they would’ve left the adlibs on.

It makes a lot more sense in 1996 that Decks verse was on another reel or a lost DAT tape or something. Having the ad live on there is either a genius move by the engineer or left over from lost/missing reels etc. can’t believe I never thought of it rhat way and I’ve never heard Daz tell the story. It also makes sense that if Deck didn’t know about that part of it that he might think Pac just didn’t like his verse or someone didn’t like it and cut it for whatever reason.
As far as Daz being low in the mix it may be a similar problem. As far as I’m aware, DJ Quik mixed eve majority of the album, maybe he o ot had so much to work with when mixing that song

U do know that Daz’ babymoms was there too and said the same shyt right? Pac wasn’t hating on boy. Lady Of Rage ain’t on the song either. fukk would he “hate” on Deck for? Do that even make sense to u? Even if he felt the song had too many nikkas. That song as is is long. Imagine 2 more long ass verses. Was Missy hating on Styles P when she cut his verse from All About The Benjamin’s? Also it was 2 Wu Tang members. Not 3. Redman ain’t in Wu Tang.
