Niccaz just wanna give their favorite rappers props for ATTEMPTING to do something

Pac actually pulled off.Pac breezed through AEOM in about 6 weeks.....Makaveli in 3 days.

Timeless/universal classics.Some would argue either one of those albums as the GOAT album in hip hop history.

These other niccaz are just using that template to beef up their resume.It's a marketing tool now.Niccaz attempting to gain

prestige after the fact.Pac is the originator/pure natural/did it with more substance.The environment/context in which the albums was made/

circumstances of his life at that moment--->it can never be captured/duplicated.The stakes were higher.It was a unique time.These new niccaz just

fluffing a trend

When you think about it, Pac wasn't just a rapper either.

He was a songwriter.

So, not only did he have verses, he had hooks and fleshed out songs.

Pac was doing hooks and songs, not just spitting 16s.

Back then a rapper could just spit the verses and they would use the sampled song as the chorus or the DJ would scratch some sh*t in there.

This is why Pac wasn't accepted by purists early on (and still isn't to some extent) because he wasn't your typical MC. He didn't do punchlines. He wasn't the lyrical miracle type dude. He wasn't Cube or Chuck D either. Pac kinda had his own lane from the beginning. People didn't know what to make of it at first.

Pac (and Scarface too) helped pave the way for the type of MC that could be respected lyrically but coming from a different perspective with it. That "real sh*t" type rapper. Somebody like Prodigy comes to mind. DMX too.

like as great as Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder are (they're legends) I don't think they have as many songs to their name as Tupac and they lived his lifespan 3x
