A slouch he was far from. Slouches don't write songs like "Dear Mama", "I Ain't Mad At Cha", "Brenda's Got A Baby", "Hail Mary", "Pour Out A Little Liquor", "On My Block", etc. :aicmon:

Yeah those a good songs, nice hooks, etc. he still elementary AF Lyrically on everyone of them. The comparison to Jay-z is laughable.

I do respect tupac as a legend and as an incredibly influential force in HIP HOP but alot times I been hearing his rhymes and I be like :what: is this nikka serious?

Being lyrically is not the only thing that makes a great emcee or a great rapper an all around great artist. That's part of it but that's not where it stops.

2pac was poet with the pen. Breh's songwriting was impeccable and second to none.

As I've said before, Jay-Z has NEVER written a song as powerful as "Hail Mary".

Jay-Z ain't writing no songs like "Staring At The World Through My Rearview" and then writing joints like "How Do You Want It". 2pac shined in both areas with his writing and music AND he did it better than Jay-Z.

Jay-Z is more of a lyricist than 2pac was BUT that doesn't make him the better artist and at best, that's really the only area Jay-Z shines in, being a GOOD NOT GREAT lyricist with a knack for making ONLY GOOD club/party songs at best. Jay-Z is a one dimensional artist. 2pac was the better artist (as an emcee, songwriter, lyrics, flow and delivery etc)

2pac made better albums and was by far a better songwriter.

Jay-Z is a good (not great) emcee who is limited when it comes to his music. Sure, Jay-Z (as could Pac) can write a joint for the club but he (Jay-Z) can't turn around and write a "Hail Mary", a "Who Do You Believe In", a "So Many Tears", a "Dear Mama", or a "I Ain't Mad At Cha".

Jay-Z has never written anything this powerful or great:

You could have summed this up with a..

Aint no nikka like me, fukk Jay Z - Tupac

But yes Pac is better. But kudos to Jay for being in the game this long, his business ventures and marrying Beyonce though.
