I see yesterday on Deathrow IG that they’re gonna be putting out a bunch of new albums and projects from :

Crooked I, Eastsidaz, Jewel, DPG, Danny Boy, Sam Sneed etc .. they said Pac will come later .. any of you other brehs caught this?

@Nomad1 @MooseMouthMthafuga @Sccit
Yeah, we will see what actually makes it’s way out, don’t hold your breath on any Pac stuff though. We will get some loose songs this year though and apparently an N’Matez album, but time will tell.

another one of the things Tupac does is name drop song titles within his lyrics, there are many instances of this throughout the later verse and he closes the song with a quote of a cinematic quality. This was probably meant for a 1997 album, perhaps MATW 2

for real. Pac was so deep and poetic. It’s not even a discussion that he’s the GOAT

this shyt been out for wild long

not the CDQ but very close to it ... how have yall not heard this till today :russ:
Yeah, hella old but dope that it’s new to some, I remember that feeling when unheard Pac comes out. And yeah, not even close to the best quality available and should be noted that YouTube automatically converts down to a lesser bitrate when a video is uploaded so labelling it cdq or best q or lossless, wav or flac is always misleading, it may be that in the source file but not once it’s uploaded.

For the heads who are interested in best quality versions, alts and unheards I got the plug, lotta dope shyt going on behind the scenes. Holla if interested. Serious inquiries only.

worst narrative in hip hop. one of the greatest writers & story tellers in music history but he has no lyrics :dead:
And its not even like he wasn't capable of writing "lyrical miracle spherical" shyt, he just opted to structure his lyrics in a way that made them more accessible and farther reaching. Its a big part of why 25 years later they put his mural up on walls in Zimbabwe, Croatia, Brazil and every other corner of the globe, they'll be bumping his shyt on Mars before its all said and done.

facts, and you know what i'm tired of that myopic way of looking at lyricism because it's low key rooted in regional bias. sure you got rappers like phonte from north carolina, jay elec from new orleans, common from the chi, crooked from long beach, and souls from oakland. but they are all atypical to their region and subscribe to north eastern cultural hip hop which tends to be rapping-to-out-rap-you-check-my-wordplay-music. nothing wrong with that, in fact i love that kind of hip hop but that can't be the only rubric

a nikka using lyrical miracle words don't automatically make him nice. quik, cube, face, spice 1, fonzarelli, and eiht are lyricists to the core but if they don't rap like mos def they don't have lyrics? illogical. tupac is one of the greatest pens to ever touch hip hop. the disrespect gets annoying b
