There's a huge gap between Denzel & Pac. Hell, you have theater trained actors like Clifton Powell, Yaphet Kotto, Charles S Dutton, Courtney Vance, Forest Whitaker. And the Larry Fishburn, Isaiah Washington, Don Cheadle, Joe Morton...

Pac would've probably been in the Will Smith crop, with better range. But his opportunities for roles would have been endless.

He was definitely above Mekhi is skills though, and Morris Chestnut..hell, the entire Boyz crew, and Juice.

It's interesting to think about Pac's acting career had he not died. I think he woulda taken a lot more darker more intense roles than Denzel. Denzel can do dark and intense roles like Training Day obviously but he's usually more the hero in his movies. But maybe Pac woulda got the chance to do a couple action movies where he was the hero or something.

He was suppose to be Samuel L Jackson's role in Star Wars. That would have boosted him regardless of the other roles he was lining up worked or not.

Then I'm sure Pac would have challenged Will Smith for summertime blockbuster hero at some point as well because Pac was ready to compete in acting just like hip hop.
