I never seen grown men want a black man to be deplorable as much as they want Pac. His fans want him to be a big ignorant gangster lol
That's the crazy part about it. His stans love pushing and supporting the idea of him being this crazy, thugged out, loud, super wild and crazy guy, when at his core, that was never truly him.

To me, I like to believe that Pac was a man of many faces, somewhat confused, and conflicted about who he was as a man, or expected to be, but also concerned about how his image was perceived by the public, especially among fans.

That's why he was all over the place; sometimes he wanted to be a voice of Black Consciousness, but then at the same time he wanted to play the thug or gangsta, among other things. It's clear that later in his career, he became too indulged in keeping up his thug/gangsta persona, and the people around him weren't of any help because just like a lot of his fans, they too supported him being this character, and it wound up costing him his life.

I mean people have always said this about him. He was a showbiz kid, started as a dancer and actor and embraced the role of gangsta rapper.

I'm sure at least in the last few years he knew how to fight and use a gun. Basically getting involved in that street shyt put him in that high risk position. He would have been better off just being a studio gangster.

Pac biggest fault was being loyal to unloyal nikkas from Haitian Jack and his crew who at the time was in their 30s and pac is a fresh 22/23 year old

Then suge was older and bunchy and the crew was in their early 30s fresh out of jail..
30 year old hanger-ons taking advantage of 20 year old talent, a story as old as time :francis:

Apparently Pac is the only person that’s supposed to be one thing. It’s so hard for people to comprehend that he was a nerdy theater kid that was into the arts and also had a wild unpredictable side that got harder to control once he got exposed to worse environments. Being homeless and getting jumped by police changes you on top of constantly moving over and over to new cities and ghettos and having your family torn apart due to cointelpro

But Nah pac can only be one thing :mjlol:

Right! Everything is so black and white with these guys. As if humans are one dimensional and not complex beings. A lot of the guys on here sound like white folks or suburban dudes who learn about the “hood” from hearsay or Vlad interviews. Idk. They have these negative stereotypes of people from the ghetto being ignorant brutes or something so they question dudes like Pac who are intelligent, multifaceted, who defy those negative imagery. So, dudes like him have to be fake, studio gangsters, etc.

thats a point about basic humanity that people miss with these narratives they run with

going through an intense crucible and coming out of it a different person is a motif as old as time... we all saw the extreme shyt he was going through but it wasn't supposed to have an effect on his person?

this forum speaks on hood shyt (at least what they imagine it to be) from a privileged outsiders perspective ...

Childish ass genre.
Neverland…the kids control the cool here, that’s why everything is so stupid, 😆, kids are idiots. Pac is arguably the greatest rap artist in history, why do we even care if he was or wasn’t tough? 🤮. We want to ID with or be fascinated by someone’s lifestyle before we even like them as musicians, what is this? Lol, is this musicianship or lifestyle selling? Nas done rapped about being a roach, a prison cell, a gun, a woman, a fetus and some more shhit…it’s artistry!! Who gives a fukk that he’s not really a roach!!!

Dudes need fathers bro…like the old school dads who looked and carried themselves like they was 57 when they was 32…no 2nd childhood dads like these cats today. This whole shhit twisted, perpetual childishness, Neverland.

Right. He’s an entertainer. And he was a great artist. That’s all that matters to me.

No y'all nikkas say certain shyt to try to make like he was some fake nikka. Y'all don't say he wasn't hood in a positive way. U came in here criticizing Pac rather than the pasty white cracker lying on his name. That's all that needs to be said.

He was more than that. And his family was more than that. And that's why people try to lie and disrespect his character. And that's why we shouldn't let crackers like this do it. Pac and his family till this day fighting the govt. Pac mom's is one of the reasons we have equal healthcare in hospitals and the Hippocratic oath. We fukk around and let crackers and jealous c00ns fukk up our history and it always happens.
