NY is kind of overrated...but then again, it's not for everyone.

I personally could never imagine living in Houston or anywhere in Texas. Or any Southern cities. That's just me. I would rather just keep it in the Northeast/East Coast. I enjoy the diversity and the sights and sounds that this city has to offer.

I really want to move out to SF or LA.

i can respect that

I won't even get into it but the illusion of diversity in northern cities baffles me considering the some of the most segregated cities exist in the North. Philly, Newark, Chicago(midwest), Boston.:scusthov:

As someone born and raised in the Northeast, I can attest to this. I grew in Pittsburgh and it was actually used as a textbook example of hyper-segregation.

New York is pretty segregated too by race and class...but it's all in the same city hence the illusion.

Other places in the North, suburban sprawl/white flight pretty much counts for the segregated nature of those areas. But the reverse is happening, people are moving out of the suburbs into the cities and vice versa.

What's the average rent for Black neighborhoods in NYC? :mjpls:
YOU MEAN BLACK AREAS, since the neighborhood changes, i would say 900 to 1500 would be fair. i mean in a hellhole you could find something cheaper. I live in Elmhurst in the Asian section and my studio is over 1200, and yes it is small but i am near the subway and no dumb :mjpls: to mess it up.

said it before if you're not a millionaire or at least making like 500k in nyc you're living like a peasant.

377 sq foot apartment, ride on filthy trains with other peasants, sitting on filth, working some shytty job.

but if you're rich :whew:
