fashion?- You know when you go shopping if theres some hot **** out, it can be got in New York before anywhere else.

finance? - If you in school studying business the opportunities to network with fatcats are in your front yard.

real estate- If you a young professional buy something in 5 years get back double your money. The only market where in the recession prices still went UP

transportation- 24hr transit. You can get within 2 blocks of your destination ANYWHERE in NYC for $2.50.. Count LIRR/Metro North/NJ Transit anywhere in the tristate area for under $10.

Of course, i mean NYC is NYC. Cats from Yeehaw Tumbleweed always gonna hate that, oh well.
But i was just saying to my girl the other day, as we were sweating on a walk through the disgusting humidity. For a world class city, you would think we would have better weather. London gets stereotyped for bad weather, because it has clouds. That is literally it. It has comfortable, non-humid summers, and mild, chilly winters. Meanwhile here in NYC we get almost double the annual rain London gets, way more snow accompanied by freezing temps in the winter, and way more humid, gotta sit inside in the AC type summers. I seriously don't get how NYC escapes the bad weather stereotype. I can't stand these season no more.

If I was a trust-fund/hipster kid whose Mommy & Daddy payed for my rent, then I would definitely Move to NY

but IMO the place is overrated for the regular person/family, as far as living there goes.

I remember visiting relatives there 2 years ago, and its great to visit, but I'd rather not pay an arm and a leg to live in what is basically a glorified master bedroom

Son i love NY, but these last few weeks have officially soured me. Every fukking day, sweat inducing humidity, with a chance of rain. It's flat out uncomfortable at best, unbearable even. Today was the first day in a few weeks it was comfortable enough for a fukking walk. I need some better weather than this. Might as well live in the fukkin' rainforest with this NY humidity.

you do know people own single family houses with garages in NYC right? there all over BK,BX, and Queens. many of them attached but everybody don't like in a 13 floor building breh



Cant compare a state to a city. but if you want to compare the only place you could bring up would be SF. and even thats a silly comparason.

NYC has almost as many people living in public housing as SF has for total population

These are things thats skew stats so it depends how you want to calculate it. bottom line. no where in cali is it more expensive to rent then in NYC. lets not be stupid and act like we talking about living in the projects.

SF aint even the most populated city in the Bay Area

thats only because NYC has 5 burroughs, which count as 1 city (I have no idea why) but the Bay Area which is a bunch of cities combined to be 1 area has more people than NYC

so why compare NYC to SF and not the Bay Area, which is the same thing as NYC (a bunch of cities making it 1 city)

if you arent gonna do that, then you gotta compare Queens to San Francisco or similar population


but dont let me come in here with facts and common sense
