I fukking love this city. Honestly, I can't see myself living anywhere else in the country. I'd like to live in LA or SF though. That's it really.

but I am happy I was able to move back to DC after I finished college in NYC...I mean, rent here isn't much better, but sheesh, I never seen people so happy to live in a sardine can just to say they live in NYC...

I wanna go back to the Carolinas after I get married...have my kids in the south so they can VISIT the north but live and play in huge backyards and where people actually speak to you lol

I would never live in NY. I make just as much if not more money working in the DC area and I don't live paycheck to paycheck. I prefer comfort in my home rather than being able to party and see celebrities that I don't give two shyts about.

most people that live in manhattan have roommates so obviously not many people making enough bread to have 3k a month for rent. I notice that it's mostly young people that live in manhattan, once people get older and have families, they move somewhere else. It's all a cycle.

With this generation is becoming quite the opposite now. Families are actually moving back into the cities now. I highly doubt they are as likely to move to the burbs as they did back in the 1950s.
