He’s prolly one of them slow ass dullards who believe the information that Henry Louis Gates and some of these Cacs provide that claim that the Kemetyu and other Africans couldn’t have possibly invented maritime trade, shipbuilding, and circumnavigationWe couldn’t have possibly knew how to sail across the Mediterranean or sail across the Atlantic or sail towards the South Pacific or SE Asia, we ain’t Cacs
What gets me is how Black people set out of Africa by foot to the Middle East and then to populate the rest of the world but, it’s too hard for them to imagine Egyptians, Malians, Nubians with all their wealth and prosperity traveling.
I wish countries like Mali and Chad had the money and resources to get as many researchers and excavators. there still alot of things to unearth from those regions
It was fine. I had a group of 13 students with me and 13 adults. We had all our tours coordinated.
They really do a concentrated effort to make Americans feel safe. We had a tourist police officer on our bus at all times strapped with a sub machine gun. He was kind of like secret service. Suited up, seen not heard kind of thing.
Also had a police escort in a car following us from time to time. Our tour guide told us for groups of Russians and Americans the Egyptian government provides this service to protect us cause it will hurt tourism cause those two countries have the most tourists.
Most commercial places have metal detectors like the mall, hotels, and all the tourists spots.
The mood was calm in Cairo. When I went out by myself never felt tense or in danger. Had a great time, food was good.
Going back with my wife a kids next year

How bustling was the city during the day and night? Were any of the markets/bazaars open too? How good was the food? One thing I can respect about Arabs is that they can actually throw down in the kitchen unlike most of their Cac cousins in Europe and North America.

I don't know the numbers but Cairo was much busier then I expected. Had no idea they have 9 million people there and 20 million in the metro area. I had been planning this group trip to Senegal since December 2019. We were supposed to go August 2020. We postponed due to corona until April 2021 and 3 weeks before the trip protests broke out in Senegal and we deemed it the responsible choice to not take students there. Our students are middle school age. Our IG page is @youngexplorersclt if you're interested in a few pics. I switched to Egypt from Senegal and only had 3 weeks to do it.
They don't really wear masks and testing is expensive for them. We had to pay $130 usd each for our test on the way out. So I've heard most of them don't get tested unless a case is confirmed in their family for instance.
So the city is really busy all day and night. Traffic is horrible. We saw someone get hit by a car and their legs looked broken.
They don't use traffic lanes , maybe saw two traffic lights. People cross the street whenever and don't wait on cars, rather the cars just avoid the people.
The food is great. Mediterranean style food is what it is.

Hawass hates black people. He won't DNA test the older mummies because he know it'll come out to a holopgroup that has black folks.
They only release DNA tests from the Ptolemaic dynasty. The news always says ancient Egypt DNA shows connection to Europeans, knowing they never release findings from an earlier period. They know what they're doing.
One DNA test was leaked though, from Pharaoh Ramses III. And it showed a DNA group that's only associated with sub-Saharan Africans.

Hawass is a useful poodle. The truth can’t be told because for the occupiers they need to place themselves as close to the ancients as possible in order to legitimize themselves. It’s been going on since the Greeks. Wish the real, actual Kemetians would rise up and take their land back like they did in South Africa.
I used to be a fan of Hawass (mostly through documentaries) but then in reading more about him, he's very underhanded at best (criminal/more?)...
This is an amazing discovery tho. The use of lidar/other technology has really helped these digs.
From reading online they have already identified so many locations that there is a waiting list for the actual excavation and they have @ 20 years of potential sites waiting to be uncovered. They have more sites than people/time and the govt wants to control the narrative so Hawass is back in charge (it seems).

Not only that but they’ll outright botch the DNA results like they did with Nsit Bity (pharaoh) Tutankhamen. His original results were a lot more Africoid/“Negroid” than what we would later get and I think they did a reconstruction sketch on what he originally looked like. Soon as they saw that, they decided to redo everything and have the breh look like this ugly monstrosity that we know all too well:
