Same shyt back in the day when people always said Pernell didn’t hit hard. Well why didn’t JCC walk through him? Why didn’t Oscar? Even Tito couldn’t and Pernell was over the hill and coked up. Same thing was said about Floyd. Incidentally Shakur has same hand issues that prevented Floyd from getting more stoppages. If Shakur can’t punch, why Tank won’t fight him? If you a technician all you need is the respectable pop. thats it. It would be nice to have ohko power but its not necessary. If you can keep people honest you're fine. No has just walked down Shakur yet so obviously he has enough pop to be a deterrent. There is few things more demoralizing than getting hit over and over with a snappy jab.
These dudes acting like Roach did some otherworldly fantastical shyt. He just outboxed tank and didn't get lulled into getting counterpunched to hell. And he didn't gas. To say Shakur cant do something similar in his style is weird. Roach boxed incredibly well but he didn't reinvent the wheel and with that tape on tank out folks will see how much trouble he has with patient outboxers cuz his output is too fukking low. You will not beat Shakur throwing 10 punches a round because he gets hit by like 14% of them or some shyt. you are not beating him landing 1 punch a round

Lamont's timing tonight was impeccable. He seen everything tank was gonna do in slow motion. The left hook had tank frustrated as hell.
ill give roach his credit...he didnt allow himself to be a victim of tank and promoter fukkery...he trained hard and rose to the occasion and i respect that..esp for a fight that was nonsense on paper..roach can be proud and hang his head high..the NY crowd rocked with him and everything
