Tank is always fighting the bigger guy, cats acting dude be weight cutting/bullying fighting smaller opponents, when they have all been bigger than him.

Breh isnt allowed to have a subpar performance compared to other fighters as well, and you know thats some bullshyt, cats need to keep things equal :sas2:

Roach stood in the fire and traded with the Boogeyman hands of 135 and not only made him respect his power but rocked him.

Shakur isn't doing that and what he does throw isn't gonna keep Tank honest. If he doesn't get knocked out he loses a decision for lack of offense.
Yeah to me the biggest thing that threw Tank off was that Roach wasn't giving up the center of the ring. Tank is used to chasing. Roach was willing to stand right in front of him but also willing to trade with him as a counterpuncher. He forced Tank to throw first and countered him. Usually opponents taste Tank's power and want to fight from a distance which gave Tank more room to get his counters off. Roach staying so close forced Tank to loop his shots more which let Roach counterpunch with more effective straights.

A Shakur fight would look much different cause he's not going to risk staying in the pocket with Tank like that.

You know they’re trying to fight the noticeably smaller fighter.

It's a hard blueprint to duplicate but if you can stay in the center of the ring counter punch and reduce his punch output you can definitely frustrate the guy.

You have to kind of mimic Bernard Hopkins against the guy.

What most people didn't notice either it was Lamont was turning his head when Davis was punching- it looked like he was landing flush but he was getting out of the way just in time for the punch not to land flush
Tank did that..rolling with the punch..just not as well as Roach did

People trying to elevate Roach to a A tier fighter now that he beat Tank is wild
Naw, it's still a cherry pick gon wrong
Neither Vegas nor pretty much anyone outside of the Roach household had this fight as a 50/50

Props to Roach and his game plan and all that but Tank still lost to a guy under his level
To be fair, I think even Shakur said Lamont is a legit threat, prior to the fight and nothing like Frank Martin. Also he is a world champion. Not a tank fan but just trying to be fair to him.

@NormanConnors bro you are literally talking about we need to give Tank the same grace for having an off night

where was your grace when crawford had a hard night with madrimov, who was a whole world champion at 154, coming UP a division. something you've mentioned over and over and not in any positive light..you literally did not keep the same energy :russ:

Biggest thing I've learned from this fight is that the boxing betting market is not efficient.

It seems as if these fights where guys know each other from the amateurs and have fought multiple times are mispriced. Devin Haney was a 7-1 favorite over Ryan Garcia and they were 3-3 in the amateurs so clearly the oddsmakers and the betting public is missing something here.
