Last time Toni was on ppv she had the crowd hot as fukk with her antics. Now she has to wrestle Deonna and the crowd couldn't give 2 shyts about Deonna. You cant win 5 matches in 2 months and get a title shot. Deonna has no build up.

Mercedes gon come in and get a title shot in half the matches, though, and we'll be locked in. Not for Toni. But to see what Mercedes' reign looks like.
And... given the available challengers... it's not gonna set the world on fire either. They just don't have a good enough foil for her. Hayter would be good match-wise but mama can't talk and Mercedes can't talk about to carry a feud from both sides.

Division needs a breakdown and reboot with strong booking from the outset to set up tiers of competitors and some cohesion between TBS and AEW women's titles.

But they won't do it. So they'll act like Mercedes isn't a big enough draw when it's just too much for one person to be expected to do
