If they really wanna maximize this, have Cena beat the crap out of R Truth.

If you really wanna immortallize the storylin and also give R Truth his flowers for a great career:

Have R-Truth get savagely beat by Cena after attempting to talk sense into him. The crowd loves Truth, so it'll really highlight how far gone Cena is.

Fast forward near the end of Cena's run, have him start questioning himself and showing signs of the good man still being in there deep down.

Have Cena in a jam where he's really about to do something terrible, but R-Truth is able to show back up months later to inspire Cena to go back to his old self.


Bam wham jam. Cena is back, redeems himself by linking back up with Truth, and can retire a good guy, plus you give R Truth something to do - which he always deserves.

On the other end, Truth changes along with his "hero," gains back his sanity, and turns heel to join him and The Rock. If this were to become a stable, it should only be comprised of "oldheads" whose heyday is behind them and their struggle isn't even really with Cody or even the fans, but the times themselves.
