What is with this “fear mongering” buzzword?A new virus comes out that spreads like wildfire and leaves people without symptoms for days on end but enables its spread in the meantime is out there, so whomever got sick last week is visiting the hospital this week, then the people they got sick are going in next week, and so on. Are you at all listening to the health professionals or are you one of those dudes saying “media” as if this is nightly news anchors causing all of this?
I really am not understanding how many weeks we are into this and you really on that “fear mongering” slant.

Basically what I am saying is, if I look outside of a hospital, I dont know whats going on inside of it. I also dont assume I know, so I dont need proof because my general stance is this situation walks and quacks like a duck so I wont question folks close to the situation who say it does. I see random medical centers that are mostly empty but they are also not emergency care so of course folks arent overrunning them. If people say they are packed, im not gonna “fake news” them.
Too long winded. Hospitals can be big or small, workers have shifts that need to be covered. Capacities are based off fire codes. The problem is articles are saying it's packed but not saying where.
There isn't much coverage of hospitals across the country being shutdown before the crisis. So that could be a reason why it's packed bc a lot of them closed is extremely valid.
This number shouldn’t be remotely surprising to anyone at all. People wanted the country shut down and on lockdown and this is what happens. People and the economy will suffer.
A lot of people don’t/didn’t realize that the financial and economy effects from the corona virus will and continue to linger long after this is over.
But these numbers will change when most go back to work after Easter .To put this into context.
During the 2008 -2009 recession the worst job loss month we had was 800,000 we just quadrupled that.
The upcoming job losses will be unlike anything the US has ever seen
We also have just lost more jobs in one month than we did in the entire year of 2008.
Total 2008 job loss: 2.6 million - Jan. 9, 2009
In this is just for ONE WEEK not an entire month.
