exactly . It is really tragic. Bernie may have been our last chance to change the tragectory of our country through the political process. Another 4 years of Trump is a death sentence for the country and the planet. I see no other way to change our tragectory without abrupt mass civil disorder. Bernie and the ideas he ran on was the compromise to avert massive social and civil unrest. At least that is my take on it. I could be wrong

Middle America wasn't voting for Bernie...him not winning the nomination was the best chance of voting Trump out of office....and I voted for Bernie.

I think most people wanted a return to normalcy. However it is evident we're in abnormal times. And as things get more unstable people are not going to be content with the half measures of Biden.
