I forgot how hyped them old TNA crowds used to be. Plus Samoa Joe's debut undefeated push was :banderas: looking back on it

He should have got the belt that year but they gave it back to Jeff just so he could drop it to Sting at Bound for Glory.

And yeah TNA crowds used to be lit. They were NXT before there was an NXT

Bringing in Hogan & Bischoff was the worst mistake they ever made. They alienated so much of their fan base.

And they could have had Heyman when he was still interested in creative :snoop:
But Dixie gotta be all up in the videos, all on the songs :snoop:
Sorry @I-Hate-You

They were doing just fine too :francis: AJ Styles was in the middle of his reign, X Division was getting good again, Tag Division was on fire and the Knockouts was pure piff. Then Hogan brought his minions and WWE reject along :snoop:

Heyman also wanted a piece of the company, if I remember correctly.

The issue with TNA is that they had grown stagnant with that direction. Before Hogan and Bischoff, ratings and buyrates were back on the decline, so they tried something different. It was obviously a disaster in the end, but they also had their best year of ratings and best U.S. gate under that regime.

That time period in TNA was weird as hell even by TNA standards, I still remember that infamous meeting Dixie had with all of her wrestlers before taping and most of them was looking at her like :russell::shaq2:

The debuts were weird too. Hogan bringing in X-Pac, Hall, Nasty Boys, Val Venis, and Bubba the :mjpls: Sponge was the definition of trying to hard. Not to mention the Monday Nights thing.

They really were they hit a nice grove
World elit was killing it

Took them a long time to recover

Some good came out of it. Like live shows every too weeks. Touring and open fight night
And a better production team
