This part intrigues me. What did the franchise's internal investigation reveal that motivated them to go as far as termination and temporary closure beyond the usual nudging from social media? Later on their statement indicated they don't believe race was a factor, but something beyond social media and bad press motivated them to fire three people and close that store temporarily.
