On release I got to episode 3 and fell off. I just started back at episode 1 last night and binged the entire season 1. Really enjoyed it, solid 8/10. My only complaint essentially is that some of the actors / actresses are average / kinda shytty. I've been learning about chinese history recently and having that background knowledge of the revolution really helped me appreciate the storyline more. I'm a big physics head so I loved the idea of somehow strapping an A.I. cpu to a proton and using quantum entanglement. From what we know of physics you're still limited by the speed of light in terms of a living being obtaining any useful information from the entanglement, even though two particles may be entangled over infinite space and affect eachother's state instantly. Einstein was very bothered by this notion; it was part of the reason he was skeptical of quantum mechanics even though he won the Nobel Prize for spooky action at a distance. I appreciate introducing a mainstream audience to interesting physics stuff.

they haven't started filming yet? :gucci:
I know it’s not their fault and is just the way TV is nowadays but I directly associate D&D with the long ass turnaround between seasons now even though they were apparently miracle workers with how quick they were getting GoT out until the end.

Just look at House of Dragons. Smaller scale then GoT with less episodes and they’re taking like two years off between seasons. Insane.

this has been a big complaint of netflix, they take too long to air the second season. tv seasons have gotten shorter and years theres now a 2+ years wait between them.

Not sure how we missed this but Miguel Sapochnik has joined the list of directors for season 2 :leon:

Dude has made some of the GOAT TV episodes for GOT…,I’m about 3/4 into book 2 and the scale and epicness increases significantly in comparison to book 1 so I’m actually gassed to see how he executes the direction for this :banderas:

He also directed the pilot and was involved in season 1 of Altered Carbon on Netflix which was pretty good (s2 was garbage) so he’s done some sci-fi before as well. It’s funny as I actually Googled him to see what he’s been working on since he left HOTD as show runner in s1 lol
