I would say if you’re not familiar with physics/hard science in writing it’s probably a 8/10 . The first two books do a lot of heavy lifting with explaining the scientific concepts to pay off later.

Read the first book. Good book, it felt like heavy, maybe even convoluted at times, but I fukked with the concepts in it. Will be interesting to see how it’s translated to the screen.
