The Wire is a dope as show and a culturally phenomenon but power has been too strong for 5 seasons now, whereas the writing on season 4 of the wire was horrible. Power doesn’t have one week season. The wire has two subpar seasons

Dre is the new Marlo but without the stupidity

Ghost is what stringer bell wanted to be but instead he hustled by politicians and got killed by the local queer

Tariq up here killing cops while boady was killing innocent kids who wanted out the game (rip Wallace)

Snoop and Chris were wild and non strategic while Tommy out here being a secret assassin.

What the hell are you talking about? The Wire is used to teach courses on city politics in college classrooms. The Wire was so accurate police officers had to switch their tactics up because criminals were catching on. The Wire is arguable the GREATEST show to ever come on television.

Power after season 2 was heading to top 10 all time status... but after Kanan didn't kill Ghost and he somehow caught feelings... I was kinda done with the show. Omari Hardwick's acting is the only thing keeping this show afloat now...
