your favorite 3 intellectuals of all time (could be science, philosophy, socail science etc. a public intelllectual etc.)

who are your top 3

Bernie Sanders ( Economics)

Malcolm X ( Black Nationalism)

Angela Davis ( Activist) - Support removal of prison system. And noted communist ( I'm not a communist; but respect it)

Reasons

1) Bernie Sanders -Advocated for a democratic socialist society. After studying the Flexicurity economic model of the Scandinavia countries ( Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland and Greenland), I'm convinced their economic model should be replicated in America. Secondly his advocacy of a single payer healthcare system is more efficient then Our mess of a healthcare system. Our medical healthcare is literally four different country health care systems in one
Britain NHS ( Veteran healthcare system)
Switzerland system ( Obamacare)
Taiwan ( Medicare)
Canada ( Medicaid)

* This sh!t is inefficient as heck. We literally run FOUR healthcare systems in one country. His belief in a single payer model is better.

Malcolm X- One of the Ultimate leaders in black Nationalism. His advocacy of supporting black business, communities and people, really touches me. I only go to black restaurants, black healthcare supplies and black banks ( Carver). I actually got interested more into Malcolm X, at ST John's university ( LOL). I Took intro to black Nationalism; one of the best courses ever. " The seminar on black wealth :blessed:

Angela Davis - Again in college I took black Sociology. This course was heavy on our prison system and Black men. This is where I studied about Angela Davis. This Justice system of ours, is just horrendous. It has a high return rate; and used for political control, of significant opposition forces.

Others who didn't make the cut: James Baldwin, MLK, Toni Morrison, Otto van Bismarck, Franklin Roosevelt, Cornel West, Marcus Garvey, WEB Dubois, Nikola Tesla, Harry Truman ( Only military reasons).
